I knew I wanted to enter the world of music therapy as soon as I first heard about it many years ago; I embarked on a mission to gain the experiences and knowledge needed to make it happen. Music has always been such a huge part of my life, and I wanted to combine this love of music with my passion for care, connection and helping people. Prior to becoming a Music Therapist, some of my work included SEN private childcare in an ASD specialist role and Rehabilitation Support Work for adults with acquired brain injuries. Alongside clinical care work, I have always continued songwriting and performing as a vocalist and guitarist.
I was accepted onto the Music Therapy Masters course at Roehampton University, where two years of intense, transformative training led me to graduate as a Music Therapist in 2024. I moved back home to Liverpool to start the exciting journey of professional practice and currently work with MusicPlace North West across four days a week within various SEN settings and home-based sessions.
