
Paul – HCPC Registered Music Therapist
Paul is a motivated music therapist with a passionate commitment to mental health and working with young people and adults within recovery and rehabilitation, specialising in trauma and behavioural disorders. Paul completed his MA in Music Therapy at the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol, where his research focused on the use of drumming, rhythm and body movement in support of emotional regulation for recovery and rehabilitation with survivors of trauma.
Paul works for Music Place North-West in schools and colleges supporting specialist personality and behavioural disorders, complex needs and learning disabilities. He has also been working on a social prescribing project supporting the local community within mental health. Paul has recently qualified as a Neurologic Music Therapist at The Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy®.
On his days off you will find Paul up a mountain or on the road, as he is a committed rock climber and cyclist.
